Effective Supervision Webinar

At Open Door Consultancy Services, we are committed to helping organisations provide effective supervision that can have a positive impact on their staff and clients. We were recently invited to be part of a webinar hosted by The Network of Alcohol and Other Drugs Agencies (NADA) where we joined an expert panel to discuss what effective supervision looks like. Our focus was on multicultural and cross-cultural supervision, an area where our team of specialists can provide unique insight and expertise.

Pasifika Reach Project

Open Door Consultancy Services is pleased to announce its recent collaboration with the Pasifika Reach Project team, operating under the auspices of the Community Migrant Resource Centre in Parramatta. Our consultancy has been engaged on a small contract to facilitate engagement with the Pacific community regarding the federal government's Pacific Engagement Visa (PEV) initiative.

As part of this partnership, the Pasifika Reach project team orchestrated a highly successful Q&A session that facilitated dialogue between members of the Pasifika community and officials from the Department of Home Affairs. This event served as a crucial platform for the exchange of views and information regarding the PEV program.

In addition, Open Door Consultancy Services had the privilege of conducting a meaningful Pasifika Knowledge Sharing Circle, known as a Talanoa Circle, for community workers at the Community Migrant Resource Centre. This culturally enriching training session was designed to promote deep and meaningful cultural exchanges, with a specific focus on the Pasifika community.

We are deeply honoured to be part of this important project, which strongly emphasises engaging with and supporting the Pacific community. Our commitment to fostering understanding, collaboration, and cultural appreciation aligns seamlessly with the goals of the Pasifika Reach Project, and we look forward to continuing our valuable contributions to this endeavour.
